The newly-minted kids on the block on Forbes Billionaires 2021 list.
Last year, despite the pandemic which shook the world, surging stock prices and blockbuster initial public offerings meant it was an excellent year for the world's billionaires.
According to an annual list published by Forbes, last year a record 493 individuals became billionaires, approximately one every 17 hours. This included 210 new entrants from China and Hong Kong, and 250 former billionaires which had lost their status, and regained it. An eye-watering 86 percent of billionaires are richer than they were a year ago.
There were also younger billionaires - both self-made and inherited - than ever before, and younger self-made female billionaires than ever before. We take a look at the 16 youngest new billionaires, according to Forbes.
